The Social Network (Addict)

So my first article for THE HUDSUCKER, the brand-new blogzine I’m writing for, is now live! This series is all about my addiction to various social networks, and how I’m able to get the most out of them and not letting empty accounts just sit there. Also, feel free to check out The Boyfriend’s article on being unable to finish a video game as well! I’m proud of his work as well and I hope you enjoy the other fantastic articles that have been posted thus far. :)

Last week we had to cancel our Dungeons & Dragons session because half of the members weren’t going to be able to be there. Which means, unfortunately, I don’t have much of an update to give you! D: I’ll be sure to have something up this weekend, because I’m just hitting my stride with the roleplaying aspect and I want to continue to improve with combat. And, naturally, I want to document all of this!

Stay tuned! :)

So…this conversation happened.

Little-known fact about me on teh interwebz: I’ve been riding and working with horses since I was five years old. The Boyfriend has been absolutely lovely about the idea of owning horses someday, and the other day I had some…ideas…about what to name these future equine family members.

(Oh, and give me a break on misspelling Cersei Lannister’s name. The Boyfriend and I are still dreadfully behind on Season 2 of Game of Thrones.)

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO MAKE A D&D CHARACTER?

I HAVE TOO MANY IDEAS.

THERE’S TOO MUCH INFORMATION.

I HAVE TWO DAYS TILL THE GAME STARTS AND I CAN’T DO THIS.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

THIS IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR AN ENTRY BUT I DON’T CARE.

That is all.

Okay, who else would totally watch this IRL? *raises hand*

my little pony: friendship is magic/star wars

I’ve been sick for the last week so not much to report on my end, but here’s a post from the lovely ladies at Zaxy.com I wanted to share. (Yes, I watch MLP: FIM and love it. You should too.)

Guys, I swear I’m not giving up until every single one of you watches the new MLP series, “Friendship is Magic”. In this season’s premiere (which aired this last Saturday on the Hub Network), the end scene (not to give away spoilers or anything) closely parodies an iconic scene from Star Wars.

Come on. HOW can this be a show for little girls?

No, really though. You should totally watch this show, it’s all on YouTube so no excuses! I’ll be back soon with a real update. :) *coughs* *sniffs*
